Use Landmark WEB to search the land-record index and purchase images. Contact the Records Department for certified copies and historical records, Document Recording for recorded instruments and the Judicial Division for estates, guardianships, conservatorships, commitments and related case files.
Use Alacourt's Just One Look service for preliminary trial-court research. Contact Circuit Clerk Ashleigh Long for copies and certifications from civil, criminal, domestic, child-support, traffic, juvenile and warrant files, identifying the case and document precisely.
Use the public property search for owner, address and parcel research, the interactive GIS for mapping and the tax portal for bills and payments. Contact Revenue Commissioner Kim Hastie for appraisal, assessment, exemptions, Board of Equalization, delinquent-tax and bulk-data records.
Use the district's Public Records document page to obtain the current request form and its Board Meetings pages for published materials. Route board, finance, contract, procurement, personnel and aggregate student-data requests to the district's designated records custodian; student records use a separate office.
Route municipal records to Bayou La Batre, Chickasaw, Citronelle, Creola, Dauphin Island, Mobile, Prichard, Saraland, Satsuma, Semmes or Mount Vernon. Police, municipal courts, schools, utilities, planning offices, housing agencies and appointed boards may keep separate records.
Contact the Board of Registrars for voter-registration and voter-roll records, Probate Court Election Division for county election administration and results and Circuit Clerk Ashleigh Long's Absentee Election Manager office for absentee records.
Contact EMA for emergency planning, mitigation and disaster records. Use the Communications District's online form for eligible 911 calls, transcripts, addressing, GIS and district records. Contact Mobile County EMS for ambulance and fire-dispatch records outside the City of Mobile; confirm custody with the originating agency.
Request autopsy or forensic reports through the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences certified-record process and confirm Mobile laboratory custody. Obtain certified birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates through the Mobile County Health Department or Alabama Vital Records.
Contact the License Commission for county motor-vehicle, driver-license support, boat, business-license, sales-tax and permit records held by that office. Identify the license type and date range; municipal and state license records may have different custodians.
Send Alabama Port Authority requests to its published public-record email. Route Mobile Airport Authority, housing, water and sewer, transit, hospital and other public-authority records directly to the governing authority, not automatically to the County Commission or City of Mobile.
